One platform for every Canadian care setting.

One system that covers primary care and hospitals, built and hosted in Canada, with AI working alongside you from the first day.

Vancouver, British Columbia

Most Canadian clinicians finish their clinical day and then start a second one, working through documentation, billing codes, and the navigation between systems that never quite talk to each other. The software most practices run on was designed well before any of that work could be handled automatically.

We built Solstice as one platform that covers both primary care and hospital work, with AI handling the documentation of encounters, the clinical detail that is easy to miss, the messages that go out to patients, and much of the administrative load that wears clinicians down.

The whole clinical day belongs on one platform, with one patient record.

What it does

We aimed the AI at the work that keeps clinicians at their desks after hours.

Everything here works today and is included in the price.

Ambient documentation

You talk to your patient, and Solstice writes the note from the conversation. There is no template to fill in and no typing to catch up on later, and the encounter is usually ready for your review before the patient has left the room.

Clinical decision support

Drug interactions, guideline reminders, and screening gaps appear while you are working, in the part of the chart where they matter, so you are not the one who has to remember to go looking for them.

Patient communication

Solstice drafts follow-ups, referral letters, and reminders from what happened in the encounter. Nothing reaches a patient until you have read it and approved it.

Billing optimization

Solstice reads the encounter and suggests the billing codes that fit it, so you are not left wondering afterwards whether you captured everything you actually did.

Intake on a phone

Patients answer intake questions on their phone before the appointment, so you begin the visit already knowing why they came in.

For patients

Patients use Solstice too, and we built their side of it with the same care as the clinician’s.

Patients get their own app on their own phone. They can book an appointment, check in when they arrive, read their results in plain language, message the care team, and join a video visit, none of which requires a phone call to the clinic.

After a visit, patients get a summary they can actually read: what happened, what changed, and what to do next. Reminders come for the screenings and follow-ups that are easy to lose track of, and someone caring for a parent or a child can manage those appointments from their own account.

Patients should never need to call the clinic for things they can do on their phone.

How we work

Responsible, auditable AI.

  1. Always in control

Every AI feature can be turned on or off for an individual provider or for a whole clinic, and reviewing each AI-drafted message before it sends is how the system arrives out of the box.

  2. Never alone

A clinician reviews every AI output before it touches a patient record. Solstice can suggest, draft, and flag, but the clinical decision stays with the person who is responsible for it.

  3. Stays in Canada

Solstice runs on Canadian infrastructure, and that includes the AI processing as well as the storage. Patient data stays inside the country.

  4. Fully audited

Every AI suggestion and every clinician acceptance or override is logged permanently, so you can go back later and see what was proposed and what the person actually decided.
